My family absolutely loves the cinnamon sugar butter from Texas Roadhouse. One day we were prepping steaks for dinner and I noticed dinner rolls. "Ah, let me make salad, rolls and all the sides to go with this," I thought. My husband notices the dinner rolls and immediately suggested making our own cinnamon sugar butter for the rolls. And that we did! It's a hit every time and we use it on toast in the mornings (cinnamon raisin toast-definitely recommend) and any time we have rolls.
We use 2-4 sticks of butter. 4-5 sticks, typically fills an average mason jar, so I will usually do 4 sticks. Once the butter is about room temperature, we add a cinnamon sugar blend that we have already in our seasoning drawer. But it is just 2/3 sugar, 1/3 cinnamon. (Feel free to adjust accordingly to your taste palette) We like ours pretty sweet!
Anyways, whip the butter and cinnamon/sugar. Add a few drops of vanilla and about 1.5tsp of honey. Mix together! Taste test, to be sure the flavor matches up to your perfect taste. Spread on some toast or a fresh baked dinner roll and ENJOY!!
Store in refrigerator after use, but set out about 15 minutes before use. :)
ENJOY THIS HOMEMADE BUTTER-
