I scream, you scream, we all scream for ice cream!! Does anyone say that anymore?? If not, we should totally make that a thing again. Kind of like when we were kids and we would drive down the highway past an 18 wheeler and signal "choo-choo," for them to honk at us and they would. Do you know, most 18 wheelers now a day will look at you like you're crazy?? It's very rare we get a truck to honk back at us! So sad!! BRING IT BACK!!!
Anyways, summer is here which means the HEAT is here. What's better than some ice cream? Honestly, slushies, Italian ice etc. are more my summer treats, but who doesn't love some sparky flavors and combos??? I know my family does!!
We have so many ice cream places we need to try! We are pretty boring and stick to our like, three favorite spots, but here we are, venturing out to find some more hidden gems!

From your favorite vanilla ice cream cone with sprinkles, to superhero in a bowl, signature funnel cake and even slushies, yes they have blue raspberry and it is such a treat! Here are two of our absolute favorites! I have tried quite a few and I am never disappointed!
Churro Ice Cream Sundae
are you kidding me? This was full of cookie butter, vanilla ice cream and sweet, cinnamon sugar churros topped with whipped cream and cherry! One of my new favorites!
Apple Dumpling Sundae
Do you like apple pie? Crave sweet? This delicious apple dumpling sundae is sure to satisfy your craving for apple pie. It is my husband's go to and because it not only has cinnamon apples, but because it has caramel too, I always have a taste :)

It sucks because I do not have my own picture. We have not been there in quite some time, so I will have to add it to the bucket list again. We have so many places we would love to try still, but will make effort to return to this little shop because it is delicious. And they are a great, quick bite to eat! Craving a milkshake? Stop into the Milkshake Factory and you will not be disappointed! Their variety of flavors makes it difficult to choose, but I almost always get the salted caramel! Do you notice a pattern? I love caramel! Again, sorry I do not have my own picture, but we do visit frequent and I just finish my shake so quickly!

What a cool refreshing treat offered at Rita's! Shaved ice with a variety of flavors and they even offer gelato, which is the perfect combination! I always, and I mean always get the Swedish fish with vanilla gelato! It is amazing!

Looking for the hot spot after a baseball or sport game your child just had? This seems to be it! The line is there, but they are quick and it is worth it! They offer soft and hard served ice cream and the littles always love the flavors! My personal favorites are the coffee ice cream on a cone and a watermelon slushy!

Cannot go wrong with a quick, soft serve or blizzard from good old Dairy Queen. I really enjoy the moolattes as well. My favorite ice cream treat is a peanut buster parfait. My favorite blizzard is either the strawberry cheesecake or the chocolate chip cookie dough! The kids always get strawberry sundaes with vanilla ice cream! They even offer ice cream cakes! (We may or may not get them for every birthday)

Ice cream created right in front of your eyes. Choose the ingredients you desire and they mix them in before your eyes creating your perfect treat! We love the peanut butter dough delight! But they are all truly a delight!

Looking for a burst of new flavors? This cute little spot has weekly specials, but offers a range of sweet summer treats. I got the birthday bash twist and was not dissatisfied! We also shared a watermelon slushie, which was amazing. They offer food too, so stop for dinner and cool treat this summer.
